Sailing quotes, basically!

Have you heard anything hilarious, rediculous, bizzare, silly or just plain stupid said on your pontoon or while out on the water? Is the guy keeping a boat next to you a goldmine of weirdness or have you shared an anchorage with a crazy skipper from hell? Well, if you remember what it was they said, post it here, you are not alone. Have a read, crazier things have been overheard!

Please note, quotes are either placed as is, or not placed at all. There is no “moderation” as such, particularly in terms of language, and we all know what sailor’s vocabulary is like. So, advance warning, if you object to swearing, you probably should not read entries here, some may offend.
